More Up-Cycled Beauty With Items from Our ReStore

A montage of photos of wooden knobs that are in the shape of mushrooms. They have been painted in a variety of colors and designs.

Once again, we're featuring items that people have shared with us that they bought at the ReStore and have restored or upcycled to make something beautiful for their home. This time - it's doorknobs becoming mushrooms!

Kimberly comes to our Forest Grove ReStore regularly to look for wooden knobs. We often have many - sometimes bags full! She turns these into colorful, beautiful "mushrooms" and re-sells them on her Etsy shop. WE LOVE THEM SO MUCH that we’ve shared them not only here on our blog but also on our ReStore Facebook and ReStore Instagram.

We would to feature more customers and the things they transform that they bought at the Forest Grove ReStore! It could be furniture, a lamp, artwork, something for your garden - anything. If you are using an item in your home or workplace that you bought at the ReStore, or are re-imaging something you bought from here, we would love to hear your story and post your photos of such.

And thank you, Kimberly, for sharing this with us!

It’s always worth noting that sales from our ReStore help to fund the home-building, home repair and advocacy efforts regarding affordable housing of West Tuality Habitat for Humanity, serving Western Washington County, Oregon.
