Love Camping, or Want to Try It? Why the ReStore Should Be Your First Stop for Shopping for Gear.

Oregon is a state full of people that love camping. If you are one of those people, the Forest Grove ReStore is a great place for you to shop to find something for your kit that needs an upgrade or that needs to be replaced, or to expand your kit: by buying from the ReStore, you are forgoing the purchase of an item that has to be shipped from abroad, and that’s much kinder to the environment!

But maybe you are new to camping. Investing in new items for camping can break the bank! You should stop by the ReStore and save yourself some money on our new and used outdoor items! Using lower-cost, gently used items can be a great way to explore your new hobby in a more affordable way than buying new.

Camping and other outdoor-related items can be so easy to find at our ReStore: we often have tents and tarps of various sizes, lanterns, camping chairs and camping stoves. We’ve had portable tables. We often have light weight metal cookware. At least once, we had a brand new, never used, still-in-the-box camping toilet for an RV installation. We sometimes have camping dishes or plastic or metal dishes that would be great to use for camping.

Already have a tent or gazebo but missing a bolt or screw? We probably have exactly what you need.

Missing some camping stakes? We often have those too!

Our ReStore inventory changes over frequently, so we can’t guarantee that we will have exactly what you need on the day you visit. As this blog is drafted and scheduled for posting, the ReStore has a lot of camping equipment inventory, as our photos show. The key to finding what you need is to visit our ReStore regularly. Some days you may find just one item you need, and another day, you may hit the jackpot and find multiple things on your list. If you don’t find what you need in one trip, you might find it the next time you go.

The additional fun of thrifting is that sometimes it’s things you didn’t even know you were looking for!

The Forest Grove ReStore is open Mondays through Saturdays, 9 to 5.

If you want to donate your camping equipment, please make sure it is clean and not broken or torn. It should be in a condition that it can be used as soon as it is purchased.

The Forest Grove ReStore accepts donations Monday through Saturdays, 9 to 4:30.
