Find your DIY/upcycle project at the Forest Grove ReStore
You never know what you might find at the West Tuality Habitat for Humanity ReStore – and we never know what someone might donate! That’s why it’s worth visiting the Forest Grove ReStore regularly, not only to find items ready-to-use but also items that can be a part of your own DIY/repurpose project. Many of our customers transform furniture, furnishings, buckets, light fixtures and more into something completely different - sometimes something fun, something something decorative, sometimes something functional.
If you are redesigning a large space, an entire room, or an entire house, it’s a good idea to make a list of things you are looking for that might be at the ReStore - keep that list on your phone so you will have it on your next visit.
Scouring the Habitat ReStores Pinterest page is a great way to get upcycled furniture ideas. The Forest Grove ReStore also sometimes features items upcycled or reimagined by customers on our Facebook page or Instagram account.
YouTube is also a great place to look for ideas. Some videos about folks upcycling items at or from the ReStore include:

In addition to items to re-imagine, the Forest Grove ReStore also has drills, saws, nails, paint, and sometimes, glue guns, staple guns, and other items you can use in your DIY project.

The Forest Grove ReStore is open Monday through Saturday, 9 to 5. Our busiest day is Saturday, so if you want a more quiet time to visit, we recommend a weekday, especially in the early mornings or after lunch.
